Plopsaland de Panne

Kustpark Strand Westende is a campsite near Plopsaland de Panne. Take at least one day to visit this amusement park. There is a lot to do with more than 50 different attractions in different themed areas such as the Plop garden, the Pirate zone and the Samson and Gert fairground.

Raversyde

Walk through two world wars. The ATLANTIKWALL in Raversyde is one of the best preserved parts of the German defence line, with more than 60 bunkers, open and underground corridors, observation posts and artillery positions built during World War II.

Admire several beautiful works of art along the sea dykes, beaches and dunes of the entire Belgian coast. In the municipality of Middelkerke-Westende, there are no less than 5 works of art including the famous Caterpillar, Olnetop and The Navigator Monument. Definitely worth a visit!

Fort Napoleon

Discover the history of the fort in Ostend. A story trail on the walls tells about this fort's role during World War II.

Westfront Nieuwpoort

Visit the King Albert I war memorial in Nieuwpoort and learn more about the flooding of the polder plain and the German invasion.
